I am so sorry about my absence! Life has been HECTIC!!
Grandad has, unfortunately, gone steadily downhill and now both him and Granma are in hospital and dementia care respectively.
We had Granma staying with us whilst Grandad was in Hospice and Mum was furiously trying to get all the necessary stuff organised for the two of them to go into the appropriate care together.
All in all, it has been an emotionally draining and stressful week.
On the brighter side, my Boy graduated last weekend!! It was a fantastic, emotional, exciting and very proud weekend for him, his family, and myself. I was so happy to have been able to share it with him.
I will do a full recap on that when we have the photos back - I can't wait!!
I still have a couple more recaps to catch up on which I have slooooowly been working my way through, but with it being so close to Christmas, I wanted to do a Christmasy post and I have missed my Wedding Wednesdays so I whipped up a little Christmas wedding inspiration board!
I am a BIG FAN of details so I really loved the idea of fun nail polish, perhaps for the bridesmaids! This Christmas I have been really into the colour red so I love the splashes of red throughout this board; cranberries in the bouquet, the sashes on the chairs, the reindeer cookie favour boxes, and the super cute Christmas tree proposal!
A Christmas wedding in New Zealand is Summery, and even though that's all I have ever known, I can't help but channel Wintery Christmas spirit in this inspiration board; the little lit up, snow covered cranberry decorations, and the gorgeous faux fur shrugs!
This board has me dreaming of a white wedding..... (sing that line to the tune of "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" to get the full effect.)
And just for fun, here are a couple of cute photos from the last couple of weeks which have me smiling each time I look at them...
When we were decorating the tree at the Boy's, we couldn't find a star for the top so he improvised!!

I have been nannying/babysitting for this cute kid since he was 3mths old! It has become a bit of a tradition for the Boy and I to take him out for a picture with Santa and ice cream! How cute is he!? Thumbs up and a big grin!!

Loved the Santa pic but the puppy as tree topper is definitely my favorite!!
